These are the inspirational words that I live my day-to-day life by.

I pursue my dreams to use my Communication major and Journalism minor to create useful things, earn a comfortable middle class lifestyle, and improve my skill set.  We can all agree that Duluth already has far too many college graduates scooping ice cream at Bridgeman's, selling backpacks at the surplus store, and driving those big yellow school buses.

More work being done to the traffic lights around 9:25 AM.

I foresee this crew will complete their assignments by this afternoon.

The maintenance crew is starting their workday.

Photo was taken in the King Manor skywalk looking at the East Second Street and North Third Avenue East street corner at about 8:15 AM.

Photo was taken at daybreak at East Second Street and North Third Avenue East.

City work crews are repairing the street lights and have taken over the bus stop in front of the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth to do so.  City buses now have to stop in the traffic lane for passengers to get on or off.

My apartment’s front door fob reader is broken.

This fob reader has been broken for about one week and no word from the maintenance workers when the fob reader will be repaired.  This situation is kind of a hassle when you have to walk around the building at night, when it is raining hard, or at night during a hard rain.

On Saturday, I attended Duluth’s Far West Fest and Street Dance 2017.

Event signs on the corner West Gary Street and Commonwealth Avenue.

The one city block event diverted traffic to the side streets.

I like the close-up of the Far West Fest sign.

While the event advertised animals in the Perfect Duluth Day events calendar description, I was hoping to see real ponies.  But, all I got instead were peoples’ dogs and this plastic buffalo.

I bought this cute snow globe for fifty cents and that was the only thing I bought from a vender.

With no special woman to dance with, I came back home before the start of the street dance.

King Manor party is postponed

Because of Barb’s illness, the King Manor Residents’ Club must postpone our next dinner celebration until Barb feels better.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause some residents.

Our next meeting is dependent upon Barb’s recovery.  I’ll let everyone know when that happens.

Two “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” books for my friend Kathy!

These two books have important socialization lessons for both children and adults.

Below the Wells Fargo and Holiday Center Skywalk, there are more runners who are walking or jogging, rather than running.

By the time I got to Superior Street, some runners had already completed their run.

On the corner of Superior Street and First Avenue West, many runners were walking or jogging.

Below the US Bank and North Shore Bank Skywalk, some runners send messages of their progress to their family and friends, or update their blogs.

I'm in the Brony Army

Sing to the tune of The Old Gray Mare.

I may never have the strength of an Earth Pony
Flight of a Pegasus
Magic of a Unicorn
I may never rule like an Alicorn
But I'm in the Brony Army!
Pony Pride!

My AniMinneapolis convention visual essay, Part Six

The really cool My Little Pony: Collectible Card Game (MLP:CCG) I bought.  I buy these cards for the most part for the artwork.

Here is the Sailor Jupiter shot glass I bought.  For those who don’t know, Sailor Jupiter is the character that I costume play as.
