Footbridge graffiti

I wonder who is putting up these small stickers I see in Downtown Duluth.

I found this State Farm advertising sign, Part 2

Someone censored the graffiti.  This censorship was done by a random passerby.  If that censor was a State Farm employee, they would have replaced the entire sign with a new sign.

Today, I ate Dairy Queen ® Cheese Curds

I can taste why ACRacebest loves eating his Cheese Curds.

Is your player character a descendant of a deity?

Human history has examples of royal families claiming their right to rule by claiming that they are the descendants of deities.  For example, the ancient Egyptian royal family was considered descendants of gods.  Also, the concept that the emperors and empresses of Japan are descended from gods was enshrined in the Shinto religion.  This happened in Japan’s earliest histories, as well as in the 1889 Meiji Constitution.  Article 3 of this constitution stated in its entirety ‘The Emperor is sacred and inviolable’.

This background as a descendant of a deity would work with the Noble background.

What I found posted on King Manor, fourth floor bulletin board for April 25, 2025.

I see that May 2025 events are already being posted here.

What I found posted on King Manor, fifth floor bulletin board for April 25, 2025.

Without me, who would document the everyday events that happen in our North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center?

The Moon-Star family tree in my D&D campaign world

An important event happened at the creation of my D&D campaign world, a variant of the world of Toril otherwise known as the Forgotten Realms.  A Celestial and an adult Silver Dragon fell in love and then had a child that over many years became Lord Apex, the God of good dragons.  Over many centuries, Lord Apex fell in love and then married many mortal women.  Lord Apex said that his children are as beautiful and the Moon and as bright as the Stars.  Thus, he named his family’s last name Moon-Star.

All members of the Moon-Star extended family have trace amounts of Celestial and Silver Dragon in themselves.  This means that if these descendants have light and hope, joy and friendship within their hearts, they have the ability to activate the abilities of that ancestor Celestial (such as Healing Touch) and that ancestor Silver Dragon (such as Detect).  The stronger the descendant becomes, the more of these very special abilities the descendant will earn.

In addition, Lord Apex considers all members of the Moon-Star family as part of his extended family tree.  If politely and respectfully asked, Lord Apex will give what he considers the correct amount of aid and/or apprenticeship to any members of his extended family.

Free-Mo Model Railroaders in Duluth, Minnesota - Part 3

What type of scenery do you love on model railroads?  Do you love urban scenery?

This bridge is modeled on a bridge within Dinkytown, a commercial district within the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The McDonald's restaurant on the layout has been replaced with Identity Dinkytown a luxury student housing complex.  This building is near the Dinkytown Greenway.

Or, do you love rural scenery?

Free-Mo Model Railroaders in Duluth, Minnesota - Part 2

I found the model for the Greenville Shops.

I see that railroad fans have many names.  These people are called railway enthusiasts or railway buffs.  Other names for these people include anorak, gunzel, or train spotters.  However they identify themselves, most of these people will eat their meals at the local Burger King.

Snack and Learn, Part 2

I did learn much from this class lecture from the Harm Reduction Sisters.

Snack and Learn

This important event will be held on Wednesday April 23 between 2:30 to 3:30 PM.

I saw the Sneak Peek Showcase.

I saw CinemaCon’s best teaser trailers, without having to spend hundreds of dollars to attend that convention.  I know that it was well worth the $3.27 to see this Cinema Foundation event.

Spilled food on Superior Street

I have no idea why someone would open a box of raw (uncooked) pasta and then leave it on the sidewalk.  Dietitians warn us that eating raw pasta is bad for our health.  I do like the slogan, “So we grow our yumminess from the ground up.”

Homeless in Duluth

Notice the Easter Eggs artistically painted on the sign.

“Hello spring” at North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center

Yet winter says, “Hey!  I a’nt done yet!”  Care to take a bet that the May seventh, 2025 free meal and bingo at the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth will be cancelled by a winter snowstorm?  After all, “The latest in the season it has snowed in Duluth, Minnesota is May 28 which happened in 1965.”

Pastoret Terrace’s Last Dance, Part 2

I see that the basement walls appear to be made of haphazardly placed cut stones.

The site is now covered over with a layer of dirt.

Pastoret Terrace’s Last Dance, Part 1

I woke up to a cloudy day in Duluth, a common occurrence.

I saw a big truck removing the rubble of a historic building.

I got six cans of Moon Berries - Schilling Cider

I wonder how my bread made with Moon Berries Cider will taste.

About the artist

I hope to someday hire this artist to create art based on my Angry Cab Comic, and Dungeons and Dragons modules.

Don’t forget about Free Comic Day May 2025

I intend to attend Free Comic Day May 2025 at Collector's Connection.

Yesterday, I ate my very good meal at the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth

This is my very good (free) meal.

This is my cheesecake dessert.

This is the schedule for the month of May 2025.

Yesterday, I attended Barb Findley’s second Celebration of Life party.

Barb’s family and friends, who attended this Celebration of Life party, wrote down messages about Barb to Barb’s relatives.  The quote I found online with the arrow and check mark is my message.

Barb’s Celebration of Life party was held in the North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center.  The text that’s below “What is a funny story you have with Barb” is an event that happened to me.

I am happy that Barb’s family and friends came together a second time to celebrate her life.

Protest signs I found at the ‘Hands Off!’ Day of Action protest

I believe that the United States is no longer a nation of Democrats vs. Republicans.  We are no longer a nation of Liberals vs. Conservatives.  We have become a nation of Patriots vs. Traitors.

After Stalin died in March 1953, Russia had a series of reforms named De-Stalinization.  I believe that after President Trump leaves office, there will be a series of reforms named De-Trumpization.  I wonder if I’m the first one to coin this word.

I bought a bottle of Banana Pudding liqueur

I wonder how tasty bread made with Banana Pudding liqueur will be.

I bought a bottle of Salted Caramel liqueur

I wonder how tasty bread made with Salted Caramel liqueur will be.

I saw “A Minecraft Movie”

I enjoyed watching this American, fantasy adventure comedy film.  I found it was worth the money I spent on it.  The characters reminded me of the people in my past Dungeons and Dragons gaming group.

My chocolate bread

My bread, made with Faretti Decadent Biscotti Chocolate Liqueur, is a favorite with those who tasted slices of it.

Protest signs I found at the ‘Hands Off!’ Day of Action protest

As a Star Wars fan, I love this very true sign.

An abolished I.C.E. sign I found at the protest.

New Street in Duluth

I see that North Sixth Avenue East is being extending downward to East First Street.  To my mind, that new street looks like it is too steep to be driven on safely.

Heroes of the Borderlands, Part 18

18.  Here is one way to give your player characters a logical reason to adventure around the Keep of the Borderlands.  I would have the king or queen of another tribe of kobolds, who live a seven days journey from the river valley tell the PC party this:

“An extended family of kobolds were deceived to move to the Caves of Chaos.  Then, once they arrived at the Caves my fellow kobolds were murdered by an evil priest, to be turned into zombie kobolds.  I will pay your party four hundred gold coins (can be negotiated to pay up to 800 gold coins) if you destroy all the zombie kobolds for me.  Two of my strong bodyguards, Verdad and Falso, will join your group to make sure that all zombie Kobolds are destroyed.  My two bodyguards will fight to protect themselves and your party members in a quest setting my friends and family free from their undead existence.”

Yesterday, I attended the ‘Hands Off!’ Day of Action protest held at the Duluth City Hall Plaza, Part 2.

I agree that “We are Democracy” and the other side is dictatorship.

I would love to someday buy an engraved brick that says, “Buchanan Family Loves Duluth”.

Yesterday, I attended the ‘Hands Off!’ Day of Action protest held at the Duluth City Hall Plaza.

On Second Street, I walked by this snow bank on the way to the protest.

I could not agree more with that statement.
