Today, I attended the Bienvenue Coffee Fest

This Bienvenue Coffee Fest happened inside the Duluth Depot: St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center, as well as 1 block of West Michigan Street.  To me, this event is verifiable evidence that my home city of Duluth is a good place to live, somewhere to take pride in, somewhere worth fighting for.

I found the “Lounge Tent” on West Michigan Street.

I found this abandoned hat in the forested area between the East Superior Street, Essentia Health Duluth, eastbound bus stop and Interstate 35.  I wish this bus stop would have a nice shelter like the westbound bus stop has.

The fact is that murdering anyone for their public beliefs is immoral and illegal.  Nobody should be murdered for voicing their beliefs.

As a Duluth News Tribune, newspaper columnist; I could be murdered because an insane assassin thinks I’m too progressive.  Or, I could be murdered because that assassin thinks that I’m not progressive enough.

This is MINNESOTA’S COFFEE FESTIVAL, September 27 • 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The St. Louis County Depot is brewing up something robust for Saturday, September 27th, 2025!  The mission of our coffee fest: Connecting community with coffee culture in an extraordinary building.

I got lemon-lime soda for my bread.

I wonder how lemon-lime soda bread will taste like.

I bought a red beret at the Minnesota Surplus & Outfitters store

But, when I brought the beret home, I found out that my beret is too small for my big head.

I see both sides of the street are closed to pedestrians.

This is on North Second Avenue East, between East Superior Street and East First Street.  Therefore, I must detour to other streets to get to and from Superior Street.
