While walking to the Good Fortune movie, I found these wings east of the Duluth Transit Center on West Michigan Street.

I saw “Good Fortune”

Good Fortune is a movie that has told me life lessons that I needed to hear.

I ate my Marcus Duluth Cinema cheese sandwich.

I saw “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc”

This movie is so colorful, much like those experimental 1960's album covers.

What I found posted on the King Manor, fifth floor bulletin board

I see that while old posters have disappeared, new posters have taken their place on this bulletin board.

Money to burn

I found this extra crispy, 1 dollar bill in the alley south of King Manor.

What I found on my apartment door: Attention HRA Tenants

All apartment windows must be closed and latched when the outside temperature is below thirty-five degrees!

I found garage door “art”

This garage door “art” is located in the alley between Superior Street and East First Street.  It is located in the same alley as the Fond-du-Luth Casino parking ramp.

I attended the Halcyon House open house

I had a pleasant discussion about the Northern Lights Express with an employee; where I drink tea and ate cookies.  This business is an employee-owned traditional teahouse & wellness studio offering a restorative and peaceful space for personal and social wellness.

I found Sidewalk art next to the Lincoln Park Commons.

While walking to the Indoor Farmer’s Market, I found this art painted in the sidewalk.  What “Broken Disaster” and broken heart is the artist referring to?

I hope that one of my future posts will be about the grand opening for Northern Lights Express (NLX).  Getting NLX across the finish line will be about thousands of people, working for decades, to get this worthwhile project from an idea to reality.

I bought 1 bottle of TRULY Flavored Strawberry & Lemonade Vodka ™.

How will strawberry & lemonade vodka bread taste?

I think my future bread will be tasty!

I made Hawaiian style Pizza, Part 3

I didn’t know that hamburger buns would make tasty pizza toast.  I toast the bread once before putting on the pizza toppings, and then toast the now complete pizza again.  That way, the hamburger buns do not become soggy from the pizza sauce.

TACO

This TACO word is printed in the street concrete pavement on West Fourth Street and North Twenty-Four Avenue west.

I attended the Duluth, Minnesota Indoor Farmer’s Market

This is the sign that I found outside the Lincoln Park Commons. What are the Lincoln Park Commons? “Lincoln Park Middle School was originally built in the 1800’s and modified throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries to include several new wings. Carefully converted into 50 inviting homes, Lincoln Park Apartments offers eight unique and spacious floor plans, a 24-hour fitness center, community room, and outdoor play area.”

This is the free food that I ate.

This is the first time that I got my face painted.

Unknown object

I found this object next to a trash can on Superior Street.  It is beside the bus stop and across the street from St. Mary’s Medical Center, Building B.

I made Hawaiian style Pizza, Part 2

I made this Hawaiian pizza toast with ham on top of mozzarella cheese.

I made Hawaiian Pizza

I used pepperoni, instead of ham.  I love this combination on my pizza toast made with hamburger buns.

Duluth No Kings! The end, for now!

I hope many people will join this group.

Everyone at this rally is all what democracy looks like.  We Americans don’t want or need our version of Roman Emperor Nero ruining our great nation.

There is no better way to conclude my photo essay than with this central message: “No Kings!”

Duluth No Kings! Part 6

I stand with Ukraine.

I found several booths at the rally supporting several different protest groups.

Also, I was not paid to attend this rally.

Duluth No Kings! Part 5

Some protestors used blunt and coarse language to express their ideas.  I was the one who censored that message.

The only monarchs the United States needs are butterflies.

Protestors also carried flags that had important messages printed on them.

Duluth No Kings! Part 4

I was not paid to become a protestor against authoritarian fascism.  On the other hand, my father was paid to fight against authoritarian fascism.  Some of his buddies found forever rest in American cemeteries in Europe.  If my father could fight against fascism in his youth; how could I not fight fascism in 2025?

Every week, I see the icy grip of corruption at every branch of the US Federal government.

Yes, it is up to all of us loyal US citizens to follow John Lewis’s patriotic example and make some “good trouble”.

Duluth No Kings! Part 3.5

I was able to frame a brown beaver, a pink shark, and white Snoopy protestors.

Duluth No Kings! Part 3

The sign on the right says, “Chicks 4 the Constitution”.

I saw the Snoopy character from the Peanuts comic strip protesting for the Constitution of the United States, democracy, and the rule of law.

If you know my life as a fan of the “Friendship is Magic” TV series; you know that I would get an image of the unicorn No Kings protestor.

Duluth No Kings! Part 2

I found signs that say “I love America” and No Kings”.

I found real Americans walking to attend this important rally.

I find it hard to believe that I am attending a rally to protect the Constitution of the United States, democracy, and the rule of law.

Duluth No Kings! Part 1

This is the best way to introduce you to Duluth No Kings, October 2025 edition!

I and many patriotic American citizens attended this rally opposing President Donald Trump and the Trump Chumps.

This is just 1 of more or less 2,700 rallies around the United States celebrating the Constitution of the United States, democracy, and the rule of law.

My free meal at the First Presbyterian Church

This is my main course.

This is my dessert.
