This little free store is located on the east side of North Second Avenue East, between Superior Street and East First Street.  I do find all kinds of things to blog about within a few blocks of King Manor.

“Kat Ramsland was the daughter of Max and Betty Ramsland. She was a daughter, mother, wife and friend to many. She was a faculty member in the arts department of Lake Superior College. She died, as did her son, Oliver, at the hands of her mentally ill husband, Tony, shortly before his suicide. This was a mental health tragedy.”

After I die, I hope that someone puts up a little free store, to assist needy people, in my memory.

Winter-chilled coffee

Why do some irresponsible people abandon their drinks anywhere, except in a trash can or a recycling bin.  I found this disgusting litter on the east side of the Fond-du-Luth Casino, on North Second Avenue East, between East Superior Street and East First Street.

This movie is far more entertaining than I imagined it would be.  In addition, I usually don’t watch movies on a Saturday.

No Meeting on Thanksgiving

In King Manor, it is rare to see a post about a canceled event.  This unusual post is on the second floor bulletin board.

I see the rhythm of repetition, when old posters disappear, while new posters appear.  This is almost like music, with posters instead of sounds.

I have finished reading the first 100 chapters of the first season of “The Top Dungeon Farmer”.  This is a great family-friendly story that I recommend wholeheartedly.

This tasty meal was followed by bingo games, where I won nothing.

North Pointe Resource Center, Luau Party name tag

Guests were encouraged to create party name tags.  We used a name generator based on guests' first name's first letter and their birth month to create party names, encouraging conversation.

How can someone be so lazy to discard (throw away) an empty pizza box on East Second Street.  Was it too much trouble to bring an empty pizza box to a trash can?

I put pizza sauce on my spaghetti

I like thicker pizza sauce on my spaghetti.  These are the best two types of pizza sauce that I put on my spaghetti.

The North Pointe Resource Center Movie “Night” has now been rebranded as Morning Movie.

A fun Lula Party will be held on Monday, November 17 from 10 AM to Noon.

The Revive City Church will hold a Thursday Thanksgiving Feast between 10 AM and 6 PM.

Menards ® store in HO scale

Monday, I on way to purchase some cleaning supplies for my apartment; I could not believe what I was seeing on the shelf.  But, this model Menards ® store looks great.  If I ever get back into model railroading, I might get this Menards ® store, and then add a short freight siding next to it.

I also found a Menards ® water tower.

It has been far too long since there was a resident club election at King Manor.

I found a boulder, with this graffiti, in the parking lot of the Duluth, Plaza Shopping Center.

I think someone could have without thought discarded their lit cigarette into this can.  The still burning cigarette then lit up the trash inside this plastic can.

There are people, who burn plastic trash cans, so they can inhale the toxic smoke, getting high.
