Discount food I bought at Super One

This container of coffee I bought is half-price compared to their regular price for the same container of coffee.

I bought four hamburger patties for $1.99 at Super One; compared to $2.75 for one hamburger that I bought from my apartment’s frozen foods vending machine.

This is the MLP jigsaw puzzle that I bought for fifty cents.

At an apartment tag sale, I bought this little puzzle for Mason.

I have never seen a holographic jigsaw puzzle like this before.

The King Manor Christmas and New Year's Eve Party, Part Two

Here are two, Famous Dave's workers with Barb setting up the great food.

Even covered up, the smell of this great food made my mouth water in anticipation of eating a truly great meal.

Our dessert table, all the food here was bought by me for the party.

The bottles of soft drinks we drank during the party.

Here is a color poster for the party that was on the fifth floor.

Two signs

This sign is for the combined Christmas and New Year's Eve party.

This sign is for the fact that this is the second day that the Rainbow Community Center will be closed.  The soonest this facility will open is Monday.

I ate ham breakfast pizza for my breakfast

This is not the best pizza you can buy, but it is the best pizza for the small price you pay for it.

Two gateways to Bentleyville Tour of Lights

This northeast gateway is nearest to Harbor Drive and is considered to be the display’s main entrance.

This western gateway is nearest the Bentleyville gift shop.

Yesterday, on my way to Bentleyville Tour of Lights, I saw this sign.

I had no idea that there were escape rooms in Duluth; similar to “All Bottled Up” the second episode of season seven of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.

My Christmas gifts from my Sister Susan.

That’s a nicely wrapped gift box that Susan gave me.

I think that I will donate this tasty food to the King Manor Christmas party on Saturday.

My Christmas gifts from Linda Erdahl.

That is a nice card and message that I got from Linda.

I know that every active member on the Buy a Basket committee got these gifts.  However, I do like these items and plan to use them in my day-to-day life.

I have seen Aquaman 2018!

I love this movie and give it 10 out of 10 for over the top action goodness!

Today, I ate for my breakfast a slice of bacon breakfast pizza.

What’s a better way to celebrate the winter solstice of 2018 than by eating a slice of bacon breakfast pizza?

Yesterday evening, I bought myself an early Christmas treat, a pan pizza!

Can you guess where I purchased my pan pizza?

This “Handmade Pan Pizza” was very delicious and was one of the best pizzas that I’ve ate this year.  I ate half that pizza for dinner and today I’ll eat the other half for lunch.

Here is the 2019 Buy a Basket poster using the December food baskets.

My fellow apartment residents tell me that they prefer the appearance of this newly redesigned 2019 poster to my first poster.

Talking about our apartment Christmas party on January Nineteenth?

Whoever created this poster and that person was someone other than me didn’t know that January 19th is a Saturday, not a Wednesday.

Fruit and vegetable shares you should purchase at the Buy a Basket Co-op

Would you believe five dollars buys this much fruit?

Would you believe five dollars buys this basket of vegetables?

I saw “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”

This ten out of ten movie is a must see for any Spider-Man fan!

Today, I ate Egg and Cheese Breakfast Pizza for my breakfast this Friday morning

Having a three to ten minute walk to several, nearby restaurants is one of many advantages to living in a downtown apartment.

A King Manor janitor told me this.

Yesterday morning, he had discovered three homeless people, who were sleeping on the top floor of our central, apartment stairwell.  This morning, he found two more people sleeping on the same top floor where the apartment boiler room is.  As residents don’t walk up there, this chain and warning sign was added to discourage anyone from illegally sleeping on the top floor.

Here is another photo of the chain and warning sign.  To me, it is surprising that even when there are more job openings then there are unemployed adults, that some adults are still homeless and seek a place to sleep in apartment stairwells.

There is one month remaining for the 2018 Buy a Basket Co-op

It seems to me that I had put up this cool poster a short time ago.  During the Co-op meeting on the tenth of December, the Co-op officers must come to a decision on the Co-op dates for the first six months of 2019.

A mystery at Super One Foods

I wonder why one can of mushrooms has a different color label that is an easy open can with a pull tab.

Christmas has come to King Manor

I appreciate my residents’ club volunteers that create holiday themes in our King Manor community room.

I saw “Ralph Breaks the Internet”

Ralph Breaks the Internet builds upon the first movie and then expands from the game arcade to the Internet.  From my point of view, this movie definitely earns ten out of ten!

I bought one more box of My Little Pony ® candy at the Fannie Rose Candy Shop!

I realized that I would feel bad if I didn’t purchase the complete set of My Little Pony ® candy for my friend Kathy!  For your information, the Fannie Rose Candy Shop is on East Superior Street, a two and a half block walk from my King Manor apartment!

My deepest thanks go to Lauren Faust for creating the wonderful My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic franchise to explore for myself, and then to share the magic of friendship, tolerance, and inclusion with other people.

Yesterday, I bought two Japanese animation magazines for Kathy for Christmas.

Anime Usa Magazine and Neo Magazine are great ways to learn about the fun fandom based upon Japanese entertainment.

Yesterday, I bought a MLP: FiM book for Mason for Christmas.

I have never before seen these thick Write-and-Erase board books with carrying handles.  I hope that Mason get many hours of fun and learning from this book.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights 2018, Part Five

On the way back home, in the DECC parking ramp, I found a broken cell phone.  Considering how strong cell phones are made, I wonder how this cell phone got broken.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights 2018, Part Four

I found this abandoned baby stroller on the main Bentleyville path.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights 2018, Part Three

This sign is on the left side of the Cookie House, above the main path.

Bentleyville Tour of Lights 2018, Part Two

This is the main pedestrian gate to Bentleyville and thus has the most pedestrian traffic in Bentleyville.
