I’ve come back from my dentist’s office.

She told me that I’m taking very good care of my teeth and there are no major problems in my mouth!

What I found under King Manor, near the parking lot entrance

Someone had spelled out the letters MLP with discarded, aquarium stones

What I found outside of the Essentia Health - St. Mary's Medical Center

I wonder why these two Duluth fire trucks were parked outside St. Mary's Medical Center

I bought two desserts at the festival

My yummy Loukoumathes

My yummy Baklava Sundae

What I found when I arrived at the festival

This is their new chapel area displaying the beauty of ancient Christianity!

One of the ethnic Greek, dance teams that preformed for the guests

A view of the Marshall School Gym turned into the central dining hall, watched over by the Greek flag

My second day attending the Taste of Greece food festival

On my way to the festival, I found a plastic pipe with the end covered by a plastic bag on the north side of Pecan Avenue.  Lens cap provided to give a sense of scale.

I’ve never heard of Amberwing before I walked by their offices today.  And, that is one nicely designed sign.

A button on my German-made coat was repaired at Duluth’s Security Jewelers

In the 1980’s, my beloved father bought this coat in Germany.  However, the holding ring on the back of the bottommost button, made of plastic, was broken the last time I wore my coat.

Thus, my German coat has sufficient sentimental value for me to invest thirty dollars in repairing that button back to functionality by the experienced craftspeople of Security Jewelers.  I used the word functionality because I’ve never had the opportunity to use that word in a sentence before today.

King Manor meeting notice for August 2017

My notice was made in ComiPo!, an illustration and comic making program that allows you to create images using 3D models and assets.

Moon over an early morning Duluth, Minnesota

Early morning appears to be a good time to drive on Second Street, with little traffic to get in your way.
