My favorite windbreaker

This windbreaker is the only jacket that I own that has my name on it.  In addition, as I’ve worn my favorite jacket all spring, I promise myself that I will wash it sometime soon.

As Barb has limited mobility, I took the East Mainline Number Six bus and bought the ingredients at Super One a few days ago.  I’ll eat half of this spaghetti today for breakfast and then the other half for lunch.

A fire safety seminar at the Rainbow Center

This fire safety seminar will happen on 12:30 pm June 19^th, 2018 at the Rainbow center.  I record on my blog these smaller, yet important events at or near my apartment that seldom get notice on local television stations, or the local newspapers, or a city blog such as Perfect Day Duluth.  What small events around you that you can record on your blog that will be lost to history without you?

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic ™ and Build-A-Bear Workshop ® are two of our world’s most entertaining family-friendly franchises that become even better when combined!

To my cynical friends who don’t think much of MLP: FiM or the fandom that I belong to and support, I say this.  Have you ever seen Build-A-Bear Workshop ® furry friends based upon your niche franchises such as Tekumel or Warhammer 40,000?  Can you imagine that franchises that encourage the idea that the best one can hope for is stagnation, individual greed, and xenophobia will ever become as popular worldwide as MLP: FiM that promotes honesty, kindness, laughter, generosity, loyalty, and the magic of friendship?

People like the posters that I’ve created and then posted in my apartment.  I hope that someone in advertising and/or marketing will see my multiple talents and then offer me a job that will launch a lifelong career.

Within a Ravenholm map, I saw a good example of ragdoll physics of a lifeless zombie falling to a kneeling pose when it fell against a wall.  This is an example of something happening in a game that could not happen in real life.

Spring to Life in May: An event that is across the street from my apartment

This event will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth that’s located at 300 East 2nd Street.

This event will be held on Saturday 26 in the month of May 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.  Being a warm and sunny day, I should be able to attend this event.

My good friend Carol gave me her extra shopping cart.

This metal cart replaces the wooden red wagon that decades ago my parents lacking imagination and foresight mistakenly thought that I was too old for and then gave away to the preschool in the new structure of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.  With my only mobility options are taking the city bus or walking, I’ve become my family’s pack mule, and that has been hard on my back and shoulders.

The bottle graphic design is simple, displays the web address of the Word on the Street - Superior Street Reconstruction project, as well as giving event participants cold drinks of water.  This bottle was in the back of my apartment refrigerator until today and will be consumed shortly.

And I’d like to thank ACRacebest and his YouTube video where he reacts to Discord’s cucumber sandwiches with a negative yuck for inspiring me to see if cucumber sandwiches tasted good or not.  Before I saw ACRacebest’s video, I had never ate any cucumber sandwiches.  This is proof that you need to try new experiences for yourself, as what another might find yucky, you might find yummy for your tummy.  Or, ask yourself this “Is that statement said by another actually true for me?”

I bought Cap'n Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch at Super One

This is my current all time favorite cereal.  Now that I think on it, I have different all time favorite cereals once or twice each year.

I have saved $3.38 or 40 percent on my breakfast cereal.  As I often save much money when I purchase food, my friends tell me that I’d make a great house husband for a wife that needs one.  If I find a considerate, kind, and thoughtful woman who enjoys my interests especially passenger trains, Japanese animation, and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic then I would not mind being her house husband.

I saw “Deadpool 2” at 8:30 AM this morning

This movie was even better than the first one.  Wade Wilson gets some needed character development, excellent performances by the cast, while I get a reference to my favorite cartoon series.  This is a ten out of ten movie!

PS:  It was a different, yet thoroughly enjoyable experience to see a movie so early in the morning.

Are these team-based, first-person shooter games coded in a way that when you get a high score that your computer controlled teammates also obtain high scores?

I got my fruit and vegetable baskets from the King Manor, Buy a Basket Co-op.

These are my fruit baskets and those pears look very yummy.  Also, I need my two hands to carry this heavy box.

These are my vegetable baskets and I was surprised that I got two lettuce heads.  Moreover, I need one hand to carry is lighter box.

Even more Superior Street reconstruction

I wonder why the old concrete retaining wall is being replaced with a new one, west of the Gateway Tower.

I didn’t know the concrete foundations for street lights were built that deep into the ground.

On Superior Street, the old phone kiosk is now gone.

All that is left of that old phone kiosk is a short stump of concrete in the sidewalk.

The hole is dug, the new pipes are put in, and then the hole is filled up.

That excavating backhoe allows one adult, human being to do the same amount of work than a hundred workers with hand tools are able to do.

This information kiosk is on West First Street and near Fourth Avenue West.

This is an interesting way to reuse an old phone kiosk.

Or, it would be if this kiosk had useful information for pedestrians.  I wish this would be used for a better purpose than for a place to be tagged for street graffiti.

While Kathy and I can’t afford to buy furry friends very often, we did we have a great time building our new furry friends.  When you have the time and the money, you should buy one Build-A-Bear Workshop® furry friend for yourself and another as a gift to someone special to you.

Up until now, all my ponies that I bought from Build-A-Bear Workshop® were gifts to Kathy or Mason.

I buy many of my plush My Little Pony:  Friendship is Magic ponies at Build-A-Bear Workshop®.  And, you should as well, for yourself and for gifts as everyone I know loves these plush ponies.

I admit that my friends are correct when they tell me that every year I look more and more similar to my farther.

In addition, my doctor is correct when he tells me that I need to work off a few pounds of body fat.

My Princess Twilight Sparkle furry friend is almost ready to be fitted with a SCENTiments® scented disc, a Heart-Shaped Heartbeat Effect, and then sewed up, as well as dressed up in a very adorable and cute princess costume.

I have a hard time believing that Kathy has never been to Build-A-Bear Workshop®, let alone built her first bear, or in this case built her first pony.

It is fun to build your own furry friend, with the assistance of a knowledgeable staff employee.

Yes, that is Songbird Serenade who is coming to life.

Kathy’s first furry friend has inside her a Heart-Shaped Heartbeat Effect sound box as well as a SCENTiments™ scent disk that was not for sale when I bought my last furry friend at this store.

Songbird Serenade stands up on her legs for the first time in her life.

I saw this three-layer kitten pile while watching the Kitten Academy website.

That dark furred kitten must be warm, with a sibling below and a sibling above, enjoying a sibling sleeping bag.

The kittens in this pile are almost constantly rearranging their sleeping positions, so this amusing kitten face sandwich lasted for just a few seconds.
