I remember
watching this TV series and liking it as a child.

I found this furry statue on the Second Floor of my King Manor
Is
this statue a portrayal of an existing character or is it an original
character, or "OC". The statue
has an agreeable design.
Cutting double hinges in a food can lid prevents cut fingers
My
mother would always cut open a food can to have two small hinges on the top
lid. That way, she could push down the
top lid at the back, between the two hinges, and then lift up on the front.
The
top lid stays on the can and does not fall into the food below. She told me that keeping the lid on the can
prevents cut fingers that could happen by handling a loose lid that been separated
from the can.

The North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center was closed for three weekdays, Part 3
I
took this image of the King Manor elevator.
I wonder how much time, money, and effort the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of Duluth staff uses to make and then post these posters.
The North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center was closed for three weekdays, Part 2
I
took this image of the King Manor, fifth floor bulletin board. I talked to several King Manor residents that
told me that they are annoyed, disappointed, or upset that there were no bingo
games Wednesday or Friday at the North Pointe Resource Center.
The North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center was closed for three weekdays, Part 1
I
took this image of the King Manor, fourth floor bulletin board. Because of a heavy snowstorm, the North
Pointe Resource Center was closed from Wednesday to Friday.

Because of Climate Change, should the United States be importing Italian pasta?
Why would any Upper Midwest grocery stores
purchase spaghetti from Italy, when we can grow wheat in the United States?

I saw “The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie” English Dubbed
I
liked the movie better the second time I saw it. The superb English voice cast did a good job with
their roles. They brought these
characters to life in my mind.
One
of the characters had to make a choice that mirrors the same decision I will
soon make. Will I pursue a certain
career path because I want that job; or do I want that job because I want to
have the same type of job as one of my parents had.
Because of Climate Change, should the United States be importing Indian rice?
Why
ship rice from halfway around the world, when we can grow rice in the United
States.
I wonder
how many tons of toxic, greenhouse gases were put into our air to ship this
rice to a Duluth, Minnesota store.

I saw “The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie”
This
movie (Japanese with English subtitles) hit closer to my heart than I thought it would. I loved this 10 out of 10 movie and encourage
other people to see this slice of life, romantic comedy.
The Tri-Towers Apartments at night
Those
are still some of the tallest buildings in Duluth, Minnesota. But, with the already happening influx of
climate refugees, how many more tall buildings will be built in Duluth over the
next 78 years?
I saw this at Bentleyville, near the Pier B Resort Hotel.
Are
these two men Russians who are dancing or Ukrainians practicing to kick Vladimir
Putin’s behind? If anyone needs to be put
on Santa Claus’s naughty list, it is Vladimir Putin.
Is this art or is this trash?
Who
would take a bite from an apple and other bite from a doughnut, and then
abandon their food on top of the plastic trash bin? When I saw how these two were stacked on top
of each other; I knew I had to blog about this food art. No, I did not put that food on top of the
trash bin nor more it around in any way.

Someone or something lit 2 plastic garbage cans on fire
In
front of the Sellwood Building, that’s located at 202 West Superior Street,
Duluth, MN 55802, I found two plastic trash cans that had been set on
fire. This image was taken looking east.
This image was taken
looking west. I’ve read about a
dangerous, new teen trend of burning plastic trash cans, and then inhaling the fumes.

The Duluth Zephyr: Silver Club, Part 3
The
Silver Club car has an interesting mix of flat and fluted panels.
The
Silver Club has Federal Railroad Administration required marker lights for when
it is the last car on a train.
The Duluth Zephyr: Silver Club, Part 2
The
upper level of the Silver Club gives riders a better view of their surroundings
than any airplane, bus, or car.
The
lower level of the Silver Club gives riders a near to the ground view of their
surroundings.
The Duluth Zephyr: Silver Club, Part 1
Here
is the door to the Silver Club, lower level restroom.
The
Silver Club restroom was certainly designed before the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) was made into law.
The now demolished Thunderbird Motel located in Bloomington, Minnesota
I
hope that a new, family-friendly Thunderbird Motel, designed for all types of conventions,
will be constructed upon the same land as the former Thunderbird Motel. I did love attending conventions at that well-maintained
and updated motel.
MLP-MSP 2014 with James!
MLP-MSP 2014 with Kathy!
Here
is an artistic shot of Kathy taking pictures of adult fans cosplaying as characters
from My Little Pony: Friendship is
Magic, a show designed for 5 to 11-year-old girls.
“Kathy
and the Cosplayers”, that phrase sounds like the name of a musical group.

What I found at the DECC Parking ramp
I
found something strange on the floor of the third floor of the parking ramp.
I
have no idea why is this arrow is here and why is it pointing northeast on the
wide pedestrian walkway.

The relocated Bentleyville USA gift shop
This
year, the Bentleyville gift shop moved from the Bayfront Family Center
structure to a much larger gift shop tent.
The gift shop tent reminds me of the Black Mesa research structures,
found on Xen, in the Black Mesa game.

What I unexpectedly found in Duluth, Minnesota on February 23, 2022
I saw
this Jefferson Lines bus was stuck on an icy patch on West Michigan Street and
north of the Fourth Avenue Auto Park. I
was very surprised that that huge bus could become stuck on a small patch of
ice.
What I unexpectedly found in Duluth, Minnesota on May 18, 2020
I found
this nicely printed sign at the door of the Wells Fargo Downtown Duluth
branch. This was just one of many COVID-19
lockdowns all around my home city.
What I unexpectedly found in Duluth, Minnesota on April 17, 2020
On
Superior Street and next to Burggraf's Ace Hardware, I found the transit stop
had been thoughtlessly vandalized by ugly graffiti.
What I unexpectedly found in Duluth, Minnesota on March 19, 2020
On
Superior Street, I found a dump truck with a flat, front tire. The dump truck had been driving westbound and
had stopped next to the Duluth Technology Village.
What I unexpectedly found in Duluth, Minnesota on August 22, 2019
I
found an abandoned ice cream treat and spoon on the east side of the Harbor
Drive viaduct. Why would anyone leave an
intact ice cream treat on the top of an Interstate 35 viaduct?

I wrote this report as a student in Woodland Middle School, Duluth, Minnesota
I
started my advocacy for passenger trains before I started growing facial hair. I also wrote this report on a manual
typewriter, something that I have not done for decades.
This
is also my 100 post to my blog for 2022!

My return to Bentleyville USA 2022, Part 5
The
big Bentleyville Christmas Tree is always an impressive sight.
There
is a unicorn pony at Bentleyville? Is
that a crafty reference to the My Little Pony franchise?
My return to Bentleyville USA 2022, Part 4
I’m
not sure what cute dinosaurs have to do with Christmas. Yet, these dinosaurs do look cool.
Many
people agree that there is “Snow much fun at Bentleyville.”
