I love the story: (Dungeons & Doodles: Tales from the Tables)

Dungeons & Doodles: Tales from the Tables is a great story.  Someday, I hope to use this story to inspire my future Dungeons and Dragons players, if I can ever get my next campaign started.  You see the game from both the player characters’ point of view and the players’ point of view.  I hope this story will become a TV series that is animated during the D&D game / player characters’ time, while live-action during the real world / players’ time.

A Santa Fe car in northern Minnesota

Built in 1950 by Pullman Standard, this car ran on the Santa Fe, Atchison & Topeka Railway as car number 1346 as a snack bar and club lounge car.  I’m sure it was popular with the traveling public.  Later, it served as a training car, running as car number 76.  I hope it will soon be running on the North Shore Scenic Railroad.

I found these disgraceful, broken bricks on the corner of East First Street and North Second Avenue East.  These broken bricks make me feel that my hometown is neglecting both appearance and pedestrian safety in the crosswalk.

Yesterday evening, I ate my meet and greet dinner at the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth.

This is the main course of my dinner.  This is the best tasting beef chili that I have ever eaten.  Three other people at my table said that this is the best tasting beef chili that they have ever eaten.

This is my strawberry shortcake dessert.
