My second day attending the Taste of Greece food festival

On my way to the festival, I found a plastic pipe with the end covered by a plastic bag on the north side of Pecan Avenue.  Lens cap provided to give a sense of scale.

I’ve never heard of Amberwing before I walked by their offices today.  And, that is one nicely designed sign.

This year, instead of a gyro sandwich, I bought these soft jelly candies instead

A button on my German-made coat was repaired at Duluth’s Security Jewelers

In the 1980’s, my beloved father bought this coat in Germany.  However, the holding ring on the back of the bottommost button, made of plastic, was broken the last time I wore my coat.

Thus, my German coat has sufficient sentimental value for me to invest thirty dollars in repairing that button back to functionality by the experienced craftspeople of Security Jewelers.  I used the word functionality because I’ve never had the opportunity to use that word in a sentence before today.
