In the 1980’s, my beloved father bought this coat in
Germany. However, the holding ring on
the back of the bottommost button, made of plastic, was broken the last time I
wore my coat.
Thus, my German coat has sufficient sentimental value
for me to invest thirty dollars in repairing that button back to functionality by
the experienced craftspeople of Security Jewelers. I used the word functionality because I’ve
never had the opportunity to use that word in a sentence before today.
