During the next meeting of the King Manor Residents’ Club, I move that the newly elected officers do this to benefit all residents.
First, spend about one minute talking about themselves,
such as their name and then how long they have lived in King Manor.
Second, spend about one minute talking about their qualifications,
such as their education, achievements, and experiences to hold their current
club positions.
Third, spend about one minute talking about their
plans for the club. Will they plan for
club events to celebrate national holidays?
Will they start a club vegetable garden?
Will they plan for other events such as a weekly family movie night and
getting Netflix for the club, game night such as board games and tabletop role
playing-games, setting up a club blog, and trips on the North Shore Scenic Railroad?
During each new election, this talk should be
required for all office candidates before the vote.
