A rainstorm swept across Duluth’s skies
A rainstorm and a few minutes dynamically
changed the colors of the sky.
I hope the people working and
visiting Canal Park had remembered to bring their raincoats and umbrellas.
This morning, I was awake during the photographer’s golden hour or magic hour.
According to
Wikipedia, “In photography, the golden hour is a period
shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is soft and
even with a warmer color temperature. This is also commonly referred to as the
"magic hour." The light quality during this time is very desirable for
taking photos or shooting film because unlike during harsh daylight, shadows
are soft and colors appear richer.”
Here is a web
site to find “the golden hour” where
you live and see how sunrise and sunset change with latitude and time of year.

Two books for Kathy
There are now only fourteen days until My
Little Pony: The 2017 Movie. I’m
sure many Bronies and Pegasisters are looking forward to seeing this wonderful movie!
Kathy and I both enjoy watching Ever After High.
