I made my first Taiyaki of the fall 2018 and spring 2019 semesters at UMD.

While I have not made any of these cakes for a few months, these cakes both look and taste great!

I hope I can persuade other people to assist me in making a Taiyaki store.

My last two Taiyaki turned out to be some of the best appearing I’ve ever made.

I bought a cake at Mount Royal Market

I bought this cake Monday and then gave it to the Rainbow Senior Center.

This is what that Mount Royal Market cake looks like out of the plastic box.

A three dollar cake that was priced at twenty-one dollars is one-seventh of the original price.

The Denver breakfast pizza I ate at the Hearthstone Café.

In Duluth, this is the best value for your money for a slice of fresh pizza.

Yesterday, I visited Duluth’s Grassy Point Trail.

The trail entrance appears to be in good shape.  I saw no other person on this trail during my visit.

Yet, this map is sun faded and marred with hideous graffiti.

The boardwalk in the first half of the trail appears to be a good shape.

While I approve of the message of “Dump Trump” this ugly graffiti is not only ugly and detracts from the informational sign, creating this graffiti is a punishable crime.

I could not walk past the sunken boardwalk that I believe was washed out during the 2012 flood.  I didn’t want to risk falling off a board that was just too springy to keep my balance upon.  Somewhat disappointed in the city to maintain this boardwalk trail, I turned around and walked back to the bus stop to ride a number 4 Ramsey Raleigh West 8th Street bus back to my King Manor apartment.

Yesterday, I visited Irving Park

Irving Park in the West Duluth neighborhood of the same name is being reconstructed after the city’s historic 2012 flood.  This is the park’s playground equipment that I’ve seen families use.

On the park’s east side is a pedestrian tunnel under South Central Avenue where a paved trail follows Keene Creek to roadside sidewalks and then to the Grassy Point Trail.

Today, I saw “Crazy Rich Asians”.

I loved this comedy-drama and highly recommend this movie with a ten out of ten rating!
