The James R. Barker arrives in the Twin Ports.

From my apartment window, I saw this ship travelling within the Duluth Ship Canal.  I wanted to get an image of that neat plume of engine smoke being created by the James R. Barker’s engines.

Taiyaki by James, the second batch

I cooked more of my delicious Taiyaki for those customers who bought King Manor Buy a Basket food.

After being sidelined from my cooking for a few hours by a headache, I resumed cooking my cakes.  Also, if I ever open a stand for my cakes, “Taiyaki by James” could be a workable name for my small business.

Here is a close-up of the scrumptious cakes that I cooked.

Today, I will cook Taiyaki, a Japanese fish-shaped cake.

I’m using Betty Crocker French Vanilla cake mix, with Core Power High Protein Vanilla Milk Shake instead of water.  My original recipe makes a far richer and tastier cake.
