What happens when a housecat writes software?

Being a University of Minnesota Duluth college student, I’ve heard years of good old boy professor humor.  Now, I can now create it myself.

Remember this:  The only time you beyond doubt fail at something is when you don’t make any effort to reach your goal at all.

Happy Birthday Lloyd and Melissa

I paid for a cake to celebrate Lloyd and Melissa’s birthdays.  I brought a few hours of happiness to two King Manor residents that otherwise would not have had a happy birthday party.  This occurrence (special event) happened at 11 AM, June 2, 2023 at the North Pointe Resource Center / Rainbow Center dining room.

Be happy that NLX had been approved for construction in 2023!

At last, the phony propaganda of cynics and obstructionists, paid for by the fossil fuel industry has been defeated.  This wonderful event should have happened 23 years ago.  But, be happy that it is happening in 2023.  Individuals, families, and businesses along the NLX corridor will soon increase their economic, recreational, and social opportunities provided by fast, safe, and environmentally friendly public transportation.

I saw again, “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”

For two hours, this movie transported me to the city-state of Neverwinter that’s located in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.  Then, I walked back to the reality of Duluth, Minnesota that I call the city of short-lived summer.

I see that Honor Among Thieves used fifth edition races such as the Aarakocra, Dragonborn, Tabaxi, and the Tiefling.  These appear to be exciting races to play in a campaign.  I’m going to wait until the sixth edition of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game before I get back into being a player, world master, and game writer.
