The 2017 Scandinavian Festival

This event sign was standing on the Superior Street side of the First Lutheran Church of Duluth located on 1100 E. Superior Street.

This is a festival sign on the side of the sidewalk nearer the church.

A festival sign on the London Road side of the church looking north.

A festival sign on the London Road side of the church looking south.

Here is an artsy photograph of a package of traditional fried, rosettes pastry that I bought at the festival for three dollars.  I haven’t eaten rosettes pastry in many years and these were a real treat for me.

The Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile at the Halloween Costume Carnival 2017

On Friday October 27, 2017, between 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile was in the North Shore Scenic Railroad’s Duluth Depot parking lot for the Lake Superior Railroad Museum's fourth annual Halloween Costume Carnival.

This is the left side of the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile.

This is the right side of the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile.

The two drivers and tour guides for the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile.

The front interior gives great views for both the driver and three passengers.

This is a close-up of one of the two back, comfortable appearing armchairs in behind the main door.

I have no idea what this machine is supposed to do.

I made blueberry taiyaki

To bake these, I used two packages of Pillsbury blueberry muffin mix, two bottles of Chug Vanilla Milk Shake, and two cans of Mother’s Maid Blueberries that I washed the light syrup off of before using.

An unusual looking potato

I have never seen any potato that appeared like this one.  It must have become stuck in a growing tray drain to create such a perfectly round protrusion.

I saw Geostorm 3D and it was good

Sometimes, you should pay the extra few dollars to get the RealD 3D experience for those action and adventure movies.

Today, I saw Blade Runner 2049

I would not have seen this very entertaining movie, if not for five dollar Tuesdays at my Marcus Duluth Cinema!
