This is what was a wooden platform and concrete footing
for an interpretive sign.
This is a closer look at the power of moving water. Please notice the striped patterns created on
the deck support beams, made by sunlight shining through the deck boards.
The sturdy metal sign, constructed to resist mindless vandalism
and metal theft as it was in the winter of 2014. You never know when a photo you took years
ago will become useful to you.
