I took this heartbreaking picture of the Adas Israel
Congregation while looking west. At
least the stone foundations appear to be intact to my untrained eyes.
The east side, front entrance is still intact and some
thoughtful person had laid flowers at the front doors.
A no parking sign that once stood outside the front of
the Congregation is now mixed into the pile of burnt building debris. At least that awful odor of burnt wood has disappeared
from this structure. That is understandable,
with all the fog and rain Duluth has had over the past few days.
