Superior Street reconstruction workers have unearthed street
rails and ties. I am on Superior Street
looking east, between North First Avenue West and Lake Avenue.
A pile of wooden street railroad ties that time and
weather have made useless for anything other than landfill.
These wooden street railroad ties have not see the sun
in generations of Duluth residents. I
wonder when another street railroad will be built on Super Street.
