According to one of my university
professors, movie markers like to hire recruits who are able to make the most visuals
and sounds for their movies with the least amount of money. To use her words as a guide, I created a cool
picture without spending any money at all.

King Manor, Fourth Floor kitchen renovations have begun today!
The original kitchen cabinets are being taken out, as
some cabinet drawers that slide in and out will not close properly.
The new kitchen cabinets are in many cardboard boxes. The only time I’ve seen anyone ship cargo in
wooden boxes is in games such as the Half-Life franchise.

Presenting September’s King Manor Buy a Basket Co-op’s fruit and vegetable baskets
This is a five dollar fruit basket that I bought for
the patrons of the Rainbow Community Center.
This is a five dollar vegetable basket that I bought
for the patrons of the Rainbow Community Center.
What does “Willie Diction is a myth” mean?
I
found this at the corner of East Superior Street and North Second Avenue East,
next to the brownstone Temple Opera Block.
Why
would anyone put this sticker on a directional sign at the Superior Street construction
zone?
What I found at the First Presbyterian Church of Duluth parking lot.
On
the north side of East First Street, I found this rock with graffiti written on
it. I have no idea what this graffiti
message means, if anything.
What amoral Donald Trump’s words and deeds has made me relearn about human society
We all need to look beyond childish,
tribal definitions of race, ethnicity, and gender to see all individuals as
first and foremost human beings worthy of respect, forgiveness, and
friendship. While I do not always live up to this gold standard of human
behavior, I attempt to make a good effort to treat other people as I would like
to be treated. In addition, I attempt to say something positive about
other people, try to be helpful for other people when I can, and look at the
bright side in everyday situations.
An occurrence at East First Street and North Third Avenue East
An unusual pothole create by missing bricks happened a
few days ago.
The pothole was filled up with asphalt, leaving a
utilitarian yet unsightly patch in the brick street. Why this hole in the street was not filled
with new bricks is beyond my ability to understand.
