Phase Two of the Superior Street reconstruction had a modest celebration to celebrate the street reopening to traffic, Part Two

I took this photo looking northeast of the closed Superior Street before being reopened to traffic.

Mayor of Duluth Emily Larson is wrapping up the Superior Street reopening celebration.  I really love how that round bicycle rack in the street’s north sidewalk gives a halo to the news photographer.

That very clean dump truck is being driven away from the celebration crowd to symbolically conclude the end of the celebration and Phase Two reconstruction.
