Time might be running out to take pictures of the Kozy Bar and Apartments.

This photo was taken on First Street looking east.  My friends tell me that this historical building may soon be destroyed and the space paved over to become yet another parking lot.  That will be a sad day for Duluth if that happens.

This photo was taken on First Street looking west.  Opened in 1887, the Kozy Apartments were then named the Pastoret Terrace, designed by architect Oliver Traphagen.  The Pastoret Terrace consisted of six very luxurious townhouses.  I hope that this beautiful building can be saved, to be returned to the original townhouses this building was intended to be.
