My adventures in Canal Park - Duluth, Minnesota: Part Four

These pictures were taken behind the Canal Park Lodge.  The first picture looks south, featuring a walker, wearing the blue jacket, who pays no attention to a “Lakewalk Closed” sign or the orange fence to walk where he should not walk.

This second picture looks north, to the area where the first picture was taken.  I can’t imagine the power it took to force those rocks and logs into the shore, covering up the pedestrian path, the bicycle path, and the horse carriage path.

This third picture shows how the waves damaged the pathway lights, breaking off one light fixture and making another light pole lean east, away from Lake Superior.
