Or, what I found behind “The Inn on Lake Superior”. Someone needs to dig out this section of the
boardwalk before it can be reattached to the boardwalk foundation.
Lake Superior ate concrete and reinforcing bar, like
children eat candy canes.
There is a bicycle path below all that rock, gravel,
and sand.
I’m surprised that a thief hasn’t taken this section of
boardwalk away to build a home deck.
The powerful waves have shown that the bicycle path is
three layers of asphalt paving.
