Walking north, we find a rebuilt pedestrian
crosswalk. This new crosswalk is
somewhat better than the old one it replaced.
It seems strange that the new concrete slabs already have cracks that
needed filling with flexible sealant.
We
end our November tour of the rebuilt Lake Avenue Bridge by looking north, at
the Superior Street & Lake Avenue intersection, where Superior Street is
still closed for street reconstruction. Rebuilding the Lake Avenue
Bridge cost our taxpayers $2,125,000.
