Carpe diem, (Latin: “pluck the day” or “seize the day”)
is a phrase used by the Roman poet Horace to express the idea that one should
enjoy life while one can.
Image was taken looking north on East Second Street,
under the skywalk between King Manor and the now closed Rainbow Community
Center. King Manor and the Rainbow
Community Center sure have been a much studied topic for this blog over the
last few years.
What’s more, that is remarkably good advice coming from
street graffiti. Thus, I seized the day
by making my blog post.
